Do you think bronzer & highlighter are necessary for your daily makeup routine? Or more for special occasions? I'm fair with a round face so scared to try bronzer for sure.

Well yea maybe not a strong contour but a subtle one. Also you can use a darker foundation if you don't want to use a bronzer.

No. I don't do it most days. Well I highlight my cheekbone and usually under my brows as part of my eyeshadow but otherwise I don't normally. I'm very pale with a round/heart shaped face and I would recommend Too Faced Chocolate Soliel for a contouring powder. For a highlight I use Benefit's Watts Up. I got it as a sample from Sephora for my bday and really like it. I know you aren't *supposed to use a cream for one and powder for the other but it works. I like the results I get.

Another note, "Bronzer" is applied differently and is usually a shimmery formula as opposed to a matte one for contouring. With Bronzer you're hitting the spots on your face that the sun would naturally "kiss". Contouring is about playing up the "shadows" of your bone structure to create an illusion of recession in those places on the face. Highlighting, by reflecting and bouncing light, brings those places forward.
