Bb cream. Well mine that I use start off white. It blends with the coloring if your skin. Where as foundation is one color. You have to do the matching. Bb cream is way lighter that foundations.

BB cream is lighter coverage than foundation. It's basically a tinted moisturizer.
You don't have to have both, normally it's one or the other, but some people use bb as a primer for foundation. Its up to you!
If you want to cover acne scars, bb cream will not do it. You can either use a little foundation just on the scars or look into concealers for a quick fix. Concealers pack huge coverage with a tiny dot so I think this is the best option for you. :)

Bb cream is lighter and is supposed to be better for your skin. I have acne scars as well so I use foundation just only on those areas where it's more noticeable because the rest of my skin is okay. That way your whole face isn't caked with coverage it doesn't need. Then after that I go over it with the bb cream. You don't have to do both, but bb cream won't really cover your scars. It's better for just kind of evening out your skin tone in general.

I would never use BB cream and foundation together. While BB cream is a light coverage, I still find it heavy because it often has SPF in it. BB cream is used basically a tinted base with benefits for your skin. It doesn't cover much but it evens the skintone. Foundation covers your face and gives a flawless finish.

BB cream is basically Balm for your face and it gives you a light coverage.

Proper BB creams are not anything like tinted moisturizers. They have SPF, anti wrinkle and whitening/brightening properties, as well as different treatments for different needs. They come in a range of coverage levels as well as different tones. My favorite is Missha Perfect Cover in #13 :)

I like foundation for glam! Bb cream is like daily foundation. Subtle glam! I like the maybelline one in summer but in winter is super drying.
