I currently use the Loreal Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting base and the Revlon Colorstay Whipped foundation, along with my usual setting powder and bronzer. My makeup does last long at all throughout the school day. My makeup looks so awful and like half of my foundation has disappeared from my face within 4 hours or so! Even when I touch it up with my favorite mattifying powder.
I'm really in need of a new foundation and primer. What are the most long lasting, flawless looking foundations you have tried? It doesn't matter if it's high end or drugstore! I have oily skin btw.

MAC Studio Fix Fluid. I've used it for years and have tried everythinh. Everyone says MUFE HD foundation is great but I couldn't stand it compared to this stuff. I have pretty oily skin and it keeps my face nice and matte all day. I use MAC Mineralize Skinfinish for my face powder but ran out for several months cause I couldn't afford to by more and my skin still looked flawless after working in a salon 9 to 5 and a retail job 5:30 to 10. So anyway...I love the stuff and I use a sponge to apply it with. The coverage is too heavy I feel when I use a brush. If you don't want to buy it without trying first you can always ask for a sample at the couunter. Hope that helps!

I have never tried the MAC Studio FIx Fluid, i currently use the MUFE HD and i am obsessed with it! I wear it on nights out and it lasts the entire night and i can still get photographed at the end of the night and in photos my skin still looks great! I sometimes powder it on the top (LIGHTLY) with Smashbox and it seems to work well. Hope this helps! (:

for drugstore, try the neutrogena oil control foundation . i used it and it's one of the longest lasting drugstore foundations i own. and revlon colorstay (the original) - even though on me its super cakey. and for higher end i'd definitely try the MAC studio fix like the ladies before me have mentioned. it's awesome, totally worth the money.

I'm currently using MAC prep & prime, and MAC tinted moisturizer plus Studio Tech. But what keeps it in place is Urban Decay All Nighter. That setting spray is amazing! Keeps my makeup perfect no matter what. They make one called De-Slick for oily skin. You should give it a try.

Estée Lauder double wear ...it last and longs fresh n if u use the powder as well it won't budge ! I always remove it with a oil cleanser

Avon Ideal Flawless Liquid Foundation last whole day for me. My skin is combination though, I only need to dab tissue to get the oil out and re-apply powder on my forehead.

Revlon Colorstay. I've used this foundation for months upon months! It says 24 hrs on the lid (not that I'd wear makeup for that long) but it lasts me all day long right up until I want to take it off! I love it! :)

Ive used MAC studio fix fluid and I loved it, however I have oily skin it seemed to make it worse. I tried Makeup forever HD and it didn't give me to coverage I needed. I'm buying Makeup forever Velvet Matt tomorrow so hopefully that will give me the coverage and staying power of Mac only without the grease ball feeling.

MAC STUDIO FIX FLUID OR ESTEE LAUDER DOUBLE WEAR they are very similar but the double wear stays better on my skin I have combination skin and I use different primers one of my favorites is the porefessional by Benefit I would give both of these foundations a try just go to the counter and ask for a sample and alternate to see whats stays better. Oh and the double is more expensive so I would think about that too.

It might just be your primer which i've heard bad reviews on, try a better primer, i recommend Smashbox, I assume it should work out

I use la prairie it has fantastic coverage and a lovely texture, the only down side is the price £130 for 30ml. It does last me twelve months but I don't wear foundation every day only usually at weekends.

So I finally found a way I like to apply my Revlon Colorstay and I went out to a club last night.. Passes out without taking my makeup off =O and I woke up liking like I just applied it!! I also use the Skindinavia setting spray.

MAC studio fix liquid foundation is amazing, and to lock it in even more use studio fix powder foundation on top. I wear it for work and it lasts all day, doesn't budge.

Instead of changing foundations try a setting spray like Urban Decay De Slick, it makes my foundation last hours longer. I can tell by how much foundation comes off when I use my makeup removing wipes at night. You will still need to touch up but it makes a difference.

I've used Mac studio fix line for years but recently I've been introduced to prescriptives & I love it! I have very oily skin & my makeup never lasts even with primer & setting powders but since switching to the matte foundation with Prescriptives my makeup lasts all day even through two workouts a day.

I love MAC Matchmaster, Revlon Colorstay or MAC Mineralize skinfinish in medium deep. I love using that as a foundation i just conceal my imperfections and then apply that powder.

Mac Pro longwear lasts all day and night on my oily/combo skin, i've even worn it through a workout(though i try not too!) and it stayed on and it still looked good! i also set it with MUFE HD powder and i think that helps a lot with staying power with any foundation i use.
