I think you could pull it off! But yes, it will damage your hair because you will need to bleach it.

Yes you could pull it and if you take care for your hair by oil treatment you lessen so much damage

Be careful because if you damage it, it's damaged. Oils and conditioners may help a little, but you can't reverse damage.
