I have course curly hair. But when I straighten my hair it's fizz and thick. So I'm thinking about using karatin products but I have no clue what to use.

Do you mean keratin? I really like the tresemme (not sure how it's spelled) keratin smooth :) it's amazing in my hair!

I second that ^^ I use it too and I have really frizzy curly hair, and after like a week there was hardly any frizz and my hair was super soft and manageable (: I also use the Keratin Smooth Heat Protection spray right after I get out of the shower and spray my ends before I use heat after its dry.

I guess keratin is good for your hair if you use it in moderate. Don't over use it because it can have a reverse effect in the hair. Its a protine thats naturally found in the hair so just be careful when useing it.

Yes, like Nadzhe said, keratin is a protein found in the hair, skin and nails keeping them vibrant and strong. you can ingest it naturally by eating foods (mostly fruits) rich in this protein like strawberries and bananas.

Ingesting it will also be more effective because your hair grows from within your body and once its out of your scalp there's not much you can do because hair is a dead protein byproduct that can't really be nurtured topically.
