Since its black tie you want to be more on the conservative side. navy, black or metallics would be most formal. however it really depends on the event. I'm all about a jewel toned shoe with a neutral dress :)

whichever shoe you choose tie together by using accessories n makeup.

Diana-as the day goes on your hands and feet actually swell. for red carpet and public events where celebs are standing, posing and walking around its important that there's room for the swelling. also some women have protruding cuneiform bone which causes a need for wider shoes. since heels are rarely made in wide sizes the next best thing is to go a half size up. I have this problem (I'm pointing to the bone in the pic)
