for me,gel eyeliners work so much better,and if you saw my makeup collection you would know that Ive literally tried just about every single brand and make that there is. i like Loreals gel eyeliner the best. Their "HIP" brand used to make a gel eyeliner that was equally as long lasting and smudge proof,but they discontinued it. Maybellines gel is adequate,and physicians formula makes a great gel liner as well.

i can only recommend the one i been using for 10 years: Loreal intensifique liquid eyeliner, its not waterproof but i can do a perfect cat eye with it & it only smudges if your rub it off or get wet in the rain, pool, etc.
