I love looking at everyone's work and your pictures have really inspired me to try new looks! However, I'm running into a few issues with eye makeup. I have hooded eyes :/ My right eye is slightly worse than the left, but they are both hooded. I'm really bothered by them. Do any of y'all have hooded eyes as well? Do you have any tips on makeup techniques to use? I find my eyeshadow becomes lost at times, and my eyeliner creases. I have read before that hooded eyes are perceived as "bedroom eyes" and considered sexy. I try to remind myself that people think that when I am frustrated with my makeup.
Thank you! xoxo

I feel you ~ I have hooded lids as well and its kinda low I think? my eyeliner have to be like 3 inch thick to show, most of the time I use double eyelid tape just so my lids don't swallow all those makeup.

Alright so first off, for liner, you need to have liquid liner. It stays on and doesn't crease. I swear by Urban Decays 24 hour liquid liner, for it was created by the gods. It took me a super long time to figure out how to do winged liner on my hooded eyes, and I figured out how. First, you make a regular line on the upper lash line. At the outer corner of the eye, make a line going almost straight up, ending at halfway to the brow. Maybe even a little more. (make sure during this entire time your head is tilted up and you're raising your brows as high as they can go so there is no crease). Let the lines you made dry and then relax your face to see if it doesn't look totally effed up and also to make sure the vertical line has about half a centimeter visible above the fold line. Then, create an almost perfect hypotenuse (The long part of a right triangle). Trust me on this. Make sure the wing is at a perfect point. It'll take so much practice and you may vomit from frustration, but when you get the hang of it, it will be worth it
BTW the idea of a near perfect right triangle on your eye may sound weird, but when I close my eyes people tell me to keep them closed to get a better look because it looks pretty rad
