I have very very close-set eyes. Does anyone have any makeup tips on how to make them seem further apart?

Highlight the corners of your eyes with a eye shadow or white eyeliner. Also, when applying eyeliner don't start right in the corner of the eye.

This is a page from Jemma Kidd Makeup Secrets book. It gives a day & night look for close set eyes. It's probably really small and hard to see. If you go on the Beautylish website, it might be easier to read. :)
