I really like avon face wash (its the purple and white bottle, its for acne, not sure on the name but look on their site). I also love 'grease lightning' from Lush, and their green tea toner is really good too. I highly recommend Clarisonic; my skin wasn't too bad before but it has been the best thing for my skin! Its expensive but completely worth it. I like Sea Breeze Sensitive Toner too. Make sure you are moisturizing, aveeno clear complexion or clean and clear dual action is good. I also apply hydrocortizone gel on my blemishes at night or even hemmrod cream (yeah its weird but it helps) and cover with a bandaid also helps. About once a week I use Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask (walmart, walgreens, etc. has it)

I have had acne since I was a teen and nothing really worked for me. I literally have tried every brand out there. From cheaper brands to high end to perscribed meds from my dermatologist.
My Doc gave me benzoyl peroxide and retin a. Both work really well and help with acne break outs but they come with really bad side effects. The benzoyl will dry out your skin like any acne medicine. That's really the worst side effect that I experienced with benzoyl. Now with retin a it was a big issue. You have to be extremely careful when using this product. It is very very powderful which is why if you ask your docter for it, it comes in a tiny tube. You are only suposed to use a tiny drop on each pimple do NOT rub it all over your face or over a large area instead use it like a spot treatment. It will burn your face severly and will not only dry it out but it will burn some of your skin and a new layer of your skin will be red and very sensative. So it does work but I stopped using it because I experienced to much burning from this product. I use it only if I have a major pimple and I use a dot and apply it only on the blemish not my entire face.
Another well known product is Proactive+ Their new formula is much gentler and does not dry out your skin as much as their originial formula did. It works great I hardly have any break outs but during my period I get little bumps. I immediantly put proactive on my blemish and in the morning their gone. Also you do not want to apply this product every single day due to excessive dryness. Also follow the intructions and do not skip a step they are all important and with in 3 weeks youll notice a difference if not sooner.

You can order Paula's Choice CLEAR products. Customer service reps can help you out. If it doesn't work for you, you can get a refund. It takes time for any acne medication to work. Try to give it 2 months to work. My skin cleared up in a month. Everyone is different.
