Yes! water is very important for skin...whenever I visit dermatologist, they always ask me to drink tonnes of water...atleast 4litres a day...I have very dry skin..it also works breaking out the pimples, acne etc...as all those diseases are based on impurities on skin...and water helps removing it.

No, it does not. Acne is complicated. You should try to cut down on dairy, sugar/carbs, and iodine. Try 2% salicylic acid, 2.5% benzoyl peroxide for mild to moderate acne, 5% benzoyl peroxide for moderate to severe acne, sulfur, a strong retinol, or a perscription retinoid (a strong form of Vitamin A which is stronger than retinol).
I'm using a gentle cleanser, Cerave foaming cleanser, Paula's Choice CLEAR Extra Strength Exfoliant for Acne (2% salicylic acid), and Paula's Choice CLEAR Regular Strength Acne Treatment with 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide. Paula's Choice has 5% Benzoyl Peroxide for stubborn acne. Paula's Choice has a great return policy, if it doesn't work out for you. If your acne responds well to benzoyl peroxide, then buy it from Acne.org which has a better price for the amount that is offered. I heard great things about the Acnefree kit which you can buy at many stores. It's affordable and you should try it out first.
The more you learn about acne, skincare, and reading ingredient lists, you are able to make better choices for your skin. I love going on Beautypedia and reading an expert reviewing the ingredient lists of products and claims. Paula's Choice also has articles on acne and other skin related subjects. You should read about Acne.org's regimen.

Americans eat too much iodine (salt)! Most people are not iodine deficient. I agree, iodine is important for good health. I'm not suggesting to eliminate iodine from your diet just reduce the amount you consume. Test it out and see if there's a connection. The first link I provided referenced a study about acne and iodine.
