Definitely. Make sure you leave it on for a minute or a little longer. Experiment whichever works for you. I would suggest using a benzoyl peroxide face wash over salicylic acid because it's more effective killing the acne-causing bacteria.

Just be careful with the benzoyl peroxide because it could bleach your hair a bit if the hair comes in contact with the peroxide a lot. Also washing it off properly is crucial because it could stain your clothes and stuff!
