I live in Hawai'i, so this Autumn and Winter, it's actually Summer. It's hot and humid during the day, at night it's cold and chilly. I have combination oily skin, but the oily part is way too much! I have random breakouts now, and the oily melt downs when using my makeup isn't helping, even my eyeshadows crease! Any suggestions on skincare for Combination oily skin?

Have you tried oil absorbing sheets? They worked really good for me. Anytime my skin suddenly got super oily, I'd use one and problem solved. Temporarily of course.

Find a moisturizer that works well for you. This should help balance out your skin and control your skin's natural oil production. Make sure you are using a primer to keep your makeup on all day. There are a million face primers out there, and people even use milk of magnesia as a cheaper alternative. And as Danielle said, blotting papers can be your best friend. They aren't gonna solve the problem forever, but they are a quick and easy fix. Good luck!

Philosophy Take A Deep Breath worked wonders for my oily skin! Courtney B is right, it's all about balancing the oil and I also use witch hazel it's not as harsh or drying as acne treating astringents can be.

Aloha! i lived in Hawaii for 3 years so i know what you mean, i didn't bother wearing much makeup while there since the heat & humidity melt it off so quick. I have oily skin but never had a problem with acne or breakouts. My advice to you is change your moisturizer to one that is oil free, and don't pick on your pimples, they will get worse. Try Murad

I highly suggest using milk of magnesium as a primer, it's the BEST primer for oily skin, I'll be using it for the rest of my life.

Make a homemade face mask by adding some honey in grated apples. Let this face mask remain on the face for about 15 to 20 minutes. Finally, rinse the face with the help of warm water to heal the problem. Fuller’s earth face pack is useful in removing Zits, especially in case of oily skin.
