I'm 15 and I know that teens normally have a lot of acne, but I have friends with perfect skin. I have skin envy. My problem area is my chin and in between my eyebrows. Help!!!

They're lucky. ;)
Do you have a skincare routine going? If not, your teen years are an excellent time to start one. At the very least, you need a cleanser and a moisturizer. (Oh, and figure out your skin type, too. Even dry skins can suffer breakouts.)

Because I have oily skin, what should I do, moisturizer wise?

Use a Oil free moisturizer. I use the Okay daily moisturizer. It's light weight and they have a sensitive skin formula, which I use because I have acne prone skin =\

I would recommend to wash and moisturize of course with an oil free moisturizer (i have oily skin too) i like olay complete face lotion for sensitive skin so when you break out it doesnt burn or irritate your skin. If you find that even after washing your face tends to get even more oily then it was before id recommend using an astringent. I use plain ol witch hazel you can find just about anywhere. Its very inexpensive and is sensitive on skin. I take a cotton ball and apply on my tzone where i tend to break out after washing. My favorite face wash is loreal go 360 clean. It has a gentle face buffer included with it that makes washing a lot more easy.

I tried a lot of acne products and none REALLY worked until I found "kiss my face" I found it at "wholefoods market" (yes its a little pricey, but it is so worth it) I got the whole system which was the exfoliating face wash, pore shrinking face mask, and green tea toner....let me tell you I swear by it, I also learned that what you eat can have I big effect on your skin so I looked into vitamines that I could take to further help and I take fish oil three a day and vitamin E ohh and let's not forget lots of water
hope this helps good luck

This is crazy but supposedly where y break out is directly related to a different problem. I didn't believe it until I tried to remedy the problem the face map said I had and the break outs stopped. Just google 'Acne Face Map' and look at your area.
As for combating current break outs, I recommend a light exfoliating cleanser, think Clean and Clear Morning Burst. Use it night and day, in the morning apply an oil free moisturizer. At night apply a little bit of Vitamin E oil. The oil should clear your face up within a week. Apply it only to the pimples, not your whole face.

I am also 15 and i have had acne since 7th grade and it has always been around my chin. i went and got a facial a few weeks ago and she gave me some tips. i have naturally oily skin and hair plus my skin is sensitive. keep hands away from face! don't take hot showers because the steams bring bacteria to the serface and unless you go through every zit and clean it out it just sits there. Proactive and Marykay tend to make blemishes more red, especiall for fair, sensitive skin. the product i am using is working so far for me but that doesn't mean it will work for you too i suggest getting a facial and getting to know your skin type and making a routine. Acne comes with genes, unfortunately my family has has the bad acne gene. just don't let it become a stress factor :)

Until recently, I have had TERRIBLE acne and disgusting oily skin. I have tried everything- I'm talking Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, Proactive, Murad, etc. Just a while ago, I tried to change my approach to my skin. Instead of trying to strip my face of oil and use harsh products (which first dried out my skin because it's pretty sensitive, then made my face create even MORE oil to overcompensate), I decided to go with gentler products. So far, my face has cleared up tremendously and it's still getting clearer, while still calming it. Here's what I did/recommend:
Cleanser: Try going with a gentle cleanser with no acne treatment in it. This will just cleanse your skin and get rid of bacteria, which will help the other products work better. I use Formula 10.0.6 face wash (it has lots of great ingredients), but anything like Cetaphil's DermaControl or Aveeno is great.
Toner: Use something soothing with a bit of SA in it to help clean pores while still maintaining moisture. I use a DIY toner with green tea and sea salt, which has helped me more than any other store bought toner- it has calmed my redness and helped my oily skin.
Mask: Anything with clay to draw out impurities will work (Queen Helene, Freeman's). I personally use Aztec Healing Clay, which is my HG and has been the #1 factor in my clear skin. It's super cheap and works amazingly (you can feel your face pulse as it's drawing stuff out). Only use a mask 1-2 times a week.
Treatment: Anything with SA ~2% will work. DO NOT use Benzoyl Peroxie, it is the worst thing to put on your skin and is harsh and can cause cancer. I learned that the hard way with redness and peeling. I use Yes To Tomatoes repairing acne lotion, it has a bunch of other good stuff in it to help.
Moisturizer: Use a non-clogging, lightweight moisturizer with a tad of SA if you need it. I use Clean and Clear's. Make sure you moisturize every night, as it is necessary for healthy skin.
Spot treatment: Anything with SA is good for trouble spots. I use a C&C product, but I can't remember which. Only put this on specific areas, not your whole face, as it can cause drying.
Scrub: Only use a scrub 1-2 a week, and something that is not harsh (St. Ives is a big no-no, it causes tearing of the skin). A sugar and honey scrub is my favorite and it is natural too!
In addition to all of this, eat healthy, drink water, and excersie at least a few times a week (sweating is good for getting the gunk out of you). And remember, gentler is better with targeted treatment. If you dry out your skin, it will overproduce oil to compensate and make it even worse. I hope this helps! :)

i think cant really say whats the best solution since everyone will have different way to solve. i used to have really oily skin, i had to use like 3blotting papers (1 was never enough to wipe the oil) especially on t-zone. now i mine is combination/oily, only oily on t-zone.i used to avoid moisturizer when my skin was so oily, now i can use it sometime or on winter.
what i did was (even until now) not to eat some specific food, for example i know i cant eat too much eggs, when i ate like 2 or 3 eggs then i will have some pimples. so best way is to avoid some food that i know will provoke pimples (spicy/chili, oily/fried food, peanut, etc ). wash face every time i got home, not to touch them with fingers (lots of bacteria and dirt), try not to use make up especially when i have lots of acne, drink lots of water, eat more veg and fruits.
i tried some products, even went to dermatologists, it was hard to find the perfect product for my skin. i will only stick with specific product for 2-3months and see the result, if i cant see any result or my skin not getting better, then i will try another product. since i dont want to waste lots of money using products that wont work for my skin, but maybe will work to other people.

• Neem is used for the treatment of all sorts of skin problems. It contains Nimbidol and Gedunin, which have very good fungicidal properties. Neem has proved to be beneficial in skin disorders such as warts, scabies, psoriasis, eczema, and even dandruff. It is extremely effective in acne treatment.
