I am having a really hard time with my acne right now. I have used smashbox foundation for a while & recently it seems that they have changed their foundation ingredients or something & I have broken out bad :( I have tried proactive , the wave , neutregena , and I am currently using the exuviance face wash, a cream called diffren , & pills prescribed by the dermatologist. Plus I have switched over to benefit foundation but it seems the foundation and face wash are drying my face out a lot :( and the foundation doesn't do any coverage. Do y'all recommend any foundation? Or face wash?

St Ives apricot scrub every 3 days and st Ives green tea scrub every other day got rid of my acne/pimples and lots of tea tree oil every night especially of you have oily skin!

I suggest going to an esthetician and/or a dermatologist they will help you figure out acne and how to cover it up (I went to a dermatologist which didn't help then I went to an esthetician and she has helped me really clear up my acne) (see if she will do some extractions on you and ask to take a needle home so you can do the extractions your self.

I use clean and clear deep pore action face scrub, Clinique acne solutions toner, Mary Kay oil control lotion and acne treatment gel. But if you are going to use foundation you need a primer underneath to keep the foundation from clogging your pores.

I use the MAC prep + prime foundation primer but their are less expensive options like Rimmel Fix and Perfect pro primer.

Extractions are really gross but help your acne go away overnight. (okay it's really gross but you stick.a needle.in the pore of the pimple/acne and then use a cotton swab to squeeze all the germs out) If you go to an esthetician she can tell youmore!

Me personal I wouldn't wear make up until my acne clears out because anything can make it work especially if your constantly changing your make up you know what I mean. Don't let acne allow you to break, it is something we all must deal with. I use retina as my acne cream and it has helped me out so much I don't even wear foundation anymore. But it does work. Also black African soup with oats works as well and it moisturizes to. Overall you are a very beautiful women don't let little things like that bring you down. :)

Clarisonic!! I swear by it, it is completely worth the money, trust me! And I use cetaphil face wash and then avon acne face wash (the one in the white and purple bottle, not the orange)

Recommend the Acne 3 step line from Clinique and also Clinique's acne solutions foundation works wonders!
