Well I've been taking prenatal vitamins for 7months now & it has done nothing for my hair what so ever. lol but my nails are way stronger & grow a lot faster.

I've been taking it for maybe 3 years now & it's done nothing for my hair. But I think it all depends on your hair.

I took them for awhile before I realized it has three times the iron that the unpreggo lady needs.
Too much iron can lead to organ failure over time. That being said I switched my vitamin regimen to Biotin that is great for healthy hair growth.

Vitamins will not make your hair grow faster. And putting crushed up vitamins in shampoo will definitely not do anything because your hair is dead cells. Your hair growth is determind by genetics.

I want to try it so bad, but I don't want it to hurt me because I'm trying for a child within the next year :o.

@ Carrie S. I highly doubt taking prenatle vitamins will cause any harm to you bkz my friend was taking it before she got prego and durning her pregnancy. Everything was normal with her.

Yeah there only reccommended when your pregnant because pregnant woman need a lot of folic acid & they contain a lot of folic acid. but honestly they won't help you conceive in my opinion. its all up to your body. its a lie that they make your hair grow honestly I am pregnant & have done a lot of research & even asked my doctor when woman are pregnant their hormones cause their hair to fall out less this is due to hormones not vitamins & that's why people think prenatals will make your hair grow.
