Heya guys!

I reeeeeeeeeeeeally wanna dye my hair... But I'm not sure what colour to do it. I was thinking a dark purple?? Anyone recommend a colour and a good brand to go with? I'm a total noobie when it comes to hair dyes xD

Oh I think dark purple ombré!! Like from lilac to deep purple :))

I just did purple today :) I was blond and used the Revlon color bomb no 200 in violet, I let it sit for 1,5 hours, and it turned out like this :) If you use it on your brown hair, and let it sit, then I think it will turn out dark purple :)

The pro's for doing it like this is that you don't color it permanent, so you don't damage your hair. Also the color bomb is not that expensive and last of many re-colorings :)
The con's are that because it's not a permanent hair color you have to repeat the process of letting the mask sit for about an hour once in a while, I'm thinking of doing it like once a week :)

If you go dark purple you'd have to lighten it a bit. And if you use manic panic or special effects it's not damaging and will condition. Plus it doesn't stay forever. Everyone says it only lasts a few months but I had purple hair and after 6+ months I had to fight to try to fad it lol. My hair holds onto the color. I was this color with special effects' deep purple. If you lighten your hair just a bit, you'd get a bit darker. Or else you'd just have a purple tint (which would look really pretty but wouldn't be that much of a change). Sorry it's not better quality

I use manic panic in vampire red and with your dark hair it should come out in a deep magenta
