Hey Mariah! I really love your eyebrows they are so well structured :) as for your question, I reckon you could pull off a beautiful strong bold red lipstick such as ruby woo. A lot of dark skinned beauties on YouTube wear that lipstick and it looks sensational!! If however your into nudes I think mac half and half would look lovely. It's a taupe/pink colour and would also look flattering. Good luck finding the perfect lipstick shade 😘

Black women can wear any color family but just like any other skin type, its about finding the right shades that suit your undertone. the best way to find out is to go try some on :)

Women of color can wear many types of colors. We just have to "make it work." By that I mean, most WOC put a brown lipliner or a lipliner darker than the lipstick to make the transition from your skin to the lipcolor less harsh. Colors like blue reds, browns, plums, mauves, deep pinks, even orange etc. can work on us. We just have to make it work. Since you're just getting started, I think you should try out Wet N Wild lipsticks. Good quality and super affordable. My fave colors are Sugar plum fairy (in the pic I have that under a gloss), ravin raisin, cherry bomb, dark wine (a really pretty pink)

In my opinion... when its to bright its to much... I don't know the contrast just being totally honest and it's my opinion... I think gold nudes are good for your nude colors and as for pinks chocolate pinks. I think as for red you can deff do a blue toned red... I think the orange is way to bright and again to much of a contrast. I'd also so any nudish peach color hope I helped

You're sooo pretty, and I totally agree about your brows: they're amazing! I think Mac's ruby woo/riri woo would look amazing on you. If you want to start off slow, wnw's matte lipsticks are great (but you'd probably have to apply a moisturizing balm underneath because it can be drying). For wnw, I'd go with Symone B's suggestions :)
