I have been seeing this all over Pinterest and I wasn't sure if it was real or a troll. I'm actually almost out of primer and need to go to the store, guess it's worth a try since I need to cut back on my beauty spending of late.

It feels identical in texture and looks the same as well. I use another primer, but I do agree this is a win for Smashbox lovers.

Hey ladies...I've not tried this yet but I'm a total beauty junkie & have put in many many hours & (data charges) Lol..on YouTube, Women's Stalk, Pinterest & anything else that hits on the beauty/makeup searches & I'm yelling you, professional makeup artists are using the Monistat as a primer & also Philips Milk O Magnesia (sp?) But you can definitely trust that its NOT trolling & its perfectly safe for your skin! (@ least normal skin. I'm in NO way saying that someone with allergies to the ingredients or severely sensitive skin may not have any issues!) but I can attest to many woman who are using this and say its exactly the same & works beautifully for them! I'm going to get some as soon as my primer that I'm using now runs out which smells awful & as a second note I'd like to ask if anyone else thinks that the Revlon Photo Finish primer smells horrible or did I get a bad batch or something? I've only had this one bottle. Hope this helps ladies & thanks for any input<3.

Also my Revlon Photo Finish smelled like Play-Doh and was all crumbly lol. I had the pink one and it sucked.

I was using smash box primer...I love this monistat gel...give me a great matte look texture is exactly the same..

My makeup really holds up during the day...I have oily skin in my T zone... using this product does not make my face greasy or break out...I am totally I in love with this and they have so many of the same ingredients...A great dupe and very inexpensive plus you get a lot more...so ladies please get this... you will not be disappointed... if you are hey it was only 6 bucks:)

I have never tried the Maybelline baby soft...I probably will not use anything else ever again...I was a huge fan of smash box primer...until I tried the Monistat :)

I am also a professional MUA...and I would never use this on my client's... This was for my own personal reason why I wanted to try a dupe for smash box...And I love it...this is something I keep in my own personal makeup kit :) @ Jacqueline H.
