Hello all! :)
The other day I bought a foundation and it looked like it matched my skin however after applying it on my face was a tad darker , then within a few minutes it went even darker. I was wondering if anyone can give me tips on how to find the right foundation shade.

I think the best way personally how I find my shade is if the foundation looks amazing on your skin go back 1 color also try it on your wrist the color off your wrist is the same as your face and also be sure to wait 1 minute to see how it drys

Samantha, I recently found this website where you enter two foundation shades that you know match and it gives you your shade for what appears to be all foundation brands. The website is www.findation.com..

I gauge it based on what my mac foundation and loreal true match look like. Also, pay attention to undertones. If it looks too pink or yellow in the bottle, it'll probably be too pink or yellow on the skin. It depends on your undertones.

Some foundations oxidize when they mix with the oils on your skin which cause them to get darker. Try using a foundation primer, it might help with the oxidation.
