Massage your head daily, if you can with warm extra virgin olive oil once a week. Drinks lots of water and take vitamins, hair and nail vitamins work great. You also want to keep your hair strong so use eat protein! I use a hair mask of coconut oil and eggs an it works good. Hope this helps!

Remember to trim the dead ends frequently! It doesn't make your hair grow faster, but it keeps your hair healthy.

Don't cut, let it grow. You know "trims" turn into a hot mess, the hairdresser will trim 2 or 3 inches off and the customer always gets mad in the end. Don't trim it.

I am a hairstylist and you need to get regular trims... A trim is not 2 or 3 inches just make sure to tell them just to nip the dead ends

I'm going to have to disagree with Mary P. By trimming it, you're promoting hair growth and it will grow faster.

Get a trim every 2-6 months depending on how much you think you need it. lay off the heat tools, take vitamins, i personally take nioxin(AMAZING HAIR SKIN AND NAIL VITAMIN!!) folic acid,gro-aut pills, and biotin. yes the nioxin and gro-aut pills have the biotin and folic acid but if you think you're taking too much, don't worry, they're water soluble so anything that's extra will just get flushed out. drink water! drink your 8 glasses a day! it will get rid of any toxins and you`ll feel better and hydrated. no more sulfate shampoos! sulfates dry out your hair,so look for sulfate free shampoo and conditioners! deep condition depending on your hair type and length. for thin/normal hair do it once a week, medium to thick twice a week, and thick to coarse 3x a week. hot oil treatments are amazing! make your hair soft and moisturized! I personally think you dont need trims on a regular basis, just as long as you keep your ends moisturized with some coconut oil) on a regular basis and keep it up so the ends dont brush up on your hair or get caught in anything will help limit slit ends, hoped this helps! i have two hair mask videos that i use and they are working wonders!

1) Dont wash hair every single day will wear out hairs organic and natural oils as well as nutrients.

2) Try not use style hair for at least a month or once a week. If styling hair, let it stay for a day or two

3) Condition 3x a week Shampoo 2x a week (LESS is better, more is WORSE)

4) try not to place hair under the sun, damage to it as heat and dry brittle hair

5) lastly, well balanced diet! protein protein vitamins and minerals!!!

GOOD luck [:

1.) DON'T CUT IT. Ever. Split ends will come either way if hair is mistreated.

2.) Drink TONS of water. Always have water around.

3.) Take a daily multivitamin. Preferably one made for hair skin & nails.

4.) Condition!

5.) Treat it nicely. No hard brushing!
