Hey ladies!! So after shaving I feel like I get the worst razor burn ever in that area lol I don't shave dry so that's deff not the reason it happens, but maybe there is some kind of lotion or something to put on after? Please help! Lol.

Use veet aloe , the hair falls off after 3-5 mins no razor necessary

It sounds weird, but, deodorant xD
deodorant works great because, well, it basically works the same way it does for your armpits. the hairs are very similar & both areas get rubbed a lot. so after shaving I apply deodorant pretty much all over & the razor burn is a lot less severe!

I gently exfoliate with a mild scrub then use a conditioner instead of a shaving cream. I use lushes solid conditioner personally its 100% natural. then when I get out I put a tiny bit of shaveworks cool fix lotion. the original dove beauty bar works great too. that's actually what my doc recommended when I was a teenager :)

I just use unscented lotion, and I'm scared of nair or veet because one of my friends said it accidently started to burn some of her skin off :( scarryy.

Yeah I think I'm too afraid to use the rub off lotion because I always think that it won't work for me for whatever reason.

Hey girl! I have very sensitive skin and get mad razor burn everywhere I shave ugh!! But I recommend gently exfoliating before shaving and also be sure to shave in the direction of the hair growth first and then gently the opposite way to get a smooth finish :) I use a gel shave cream which comes with the most perfect mini razors for the bikini area from cvs :) also use bikini zone after shave gel it works wonders! Best of lucky pretty girl

I'll probably try all of these methods and see which ones work the best, but I think what really killed me was that I always shaved in the opposite direction which is why mines is probably so bad lol I didn't realize until now!

Exfoliating and using a non-foamy shave gel helps me a lot. And Bikini Zone for the first few days. Helps A LOT with any itching or scratchiness. I also like Soap & Glory's "Butter Yourself" body butter. It has alpha hydroxy acids which really help keep ingrown hairs away while still hydrating the skin. I use it on my legs every day and I never ever bet ingrown hairs anymore. It's my miracle body butter haha.

Omg velen that's crazy! I agree with Anna! I don't know if I ever could have that in me! If anything I think I would just get it done but maybe later on in life I'll think about doing that my self! Haha

Caitlin I have to try that body butter! Thank you so much! It seems like the perfect lotion to use after and then I'll use that shaveworks cool fix lotion like right after I shave! Ill also look into bikini zone as well and see which one works better! Thank you so much!!
