When your done applying mascara, go over your lashes again with a dry spoolie! This will help prevent clumpiness and flakes that fall in your eye throughout the day!

When I fill in my eyebrows I use a stiff angled brush that's for brows only. Fill it with eyeshadow of the color closest to my brow color. I do not like using pencils because my eyebrows are thick and then it becomes overly fake. I also use a small disposable mascara brush to then set it with hair spray.

So what I just recently found out is, after applying your liquid foundation, take a piece of tissue and pat it into your face before applying your setting powder, it makes your makeup last longer and look better.

If mascara clumps on me, I would use a pair if tweezers to separate them.

What's a boar bristle brush? A man's brush?

@Michele...a boars bristle brush can be used by women as well. I use one to smooth my hair back without damaging it...especially when I'm slicking back my curly hair. Its super gentle on the hair and there is various densities. There are two varieties of boar...synthetic and authentic boar bristle brushes.

When I do my makeup up close in a mirror, after each step I stand back at a normal distance to see my face as a whole, because sometimes, if your zoned in on only that part of your face, it looks good there but looks unflattering as a whole.

Let your moisturizer soak in all the way before applying your primer and let your primer sit for a few minutes before applying foundation. Helps your makeup blend and last longer.

@Vicky, thanx a lot for the smooth feet tip! @ Michele, you cracked me up! Yeah it sounds like a man's brush! I have one more tip. I have super long hair and had always problems keeping it healthy looking. I started washing it with a two in one shampoo&conditioner, then I rinse it completely and apply my conditioner only from the ears down. It looks amazing now!! So soft and shiny I couldn't believe it was my own hair!

I use witch hazel as a toner. Economical, effective, and multifunctional.
