I really want long hair! Ideally chest length. My hair currently reaches just past my shoulders to about armpit length. Do you think I should get hair extensions or just let it grow? P.S if you have any hair growth tips & how long it took you to grow it out, I would love to know xo.

It depends how long your willing to wait extentions are a really quick alternative to letting it grow. But your hair grows around and inch and a half each month so prepare to be waiting a while! To make your hair grow you should use little heat as possible or even better no heat! And everytime you wash your hair massage a small amount of oil into your hair and scalp (massaging your scalp stimulates blood flow in your head making your hair grow more) the oil on the hair just keeps it in good condition so it doesn't snap and cause split ends making it shorter. Hope this helps

Do both get extensions as it's growing :) that's what I did and I felt so much better because when I took them off I felt like my natural hair magically grew haha.

I actually wear Hair extensions!! I love them and I wear them everyday! My hair doesn't grow haha it like maybe grows an inch a year!! So if your willing for a fast alternative I would get extensions. I got the clip in ones only because they are easier then having them sewn in your head

I agree with Rachel 100%. I have clip in extensions as well and wear them daily. (Except when I scrunch it.) I love them so much! You can just wear them until your hair grows out, then stop wearing then when you reached your desired length.

You can wear extensions and still have healthy growing hair.

First of all, try to lead a less stressed life, sleep 8 hours each night and stay hydrated. Then do a hydrating treatment once a week with coconut oil, almond oil or argan oil to moisturize your hair and make it healthy. Castor oil works for growth. And make sure to maintain the health and moisture of your hair using hydrating hair masks, like the Moroccan argan oil hair mask from the Pro Naturals hair repair system, it really helps.

Thank you girls for all your help. I think I've decided to just grow it out. Extensions are a quick fix and look gorgeous, but I think I would be so much happier in time with it being my own hair! Thanks again xo.

Biotin, Prenatals and Omega 3 supplements are all good at helping hair growth! As well as drinking a lot of water, having a healthy diet and trying to leave your hair as natural as possible.
I always go between wanting extensions/not wanting them too but some can actually damage your hair more! Stay natural! <3

Thanks briar! I'm going to start taking omega 3's, I heard they give great results.
