Actually, and not to burst your bubble or anything, but while certain techniques and products can diminish the appearance and feeling of split ends, nothing can repair them. No matter what you do, the split ends will keep splitting up the shaft if you don't cut them, and make your hair even worse than it originally was.

Yeahh, the others are right ^^^ there's no no way to repair them, you just have to trim them. Some things temporarily stick the ends back together but that doesn't last very long and it doesn't help your hair :/

I don't see why you can't share she "secret" with us now. that makes no sense xD
& like the other girls said, the only way you can fix split ends is to cut them off. you can't magically bring the 2 ends back together once they've split. its like trying to bring back the dead. do you mean maybe preventing split ends??

I'd like to hear what you've come up with, cutting them will be the only way.

You can take your split end, pull both ends and one will come off, then condition your hair that night and it will repair :) that's what I do every time!

Molly, doesn't it take forever to find EVERY split end??
Dec 18, 2013
Kyraa D.
@Molly; that doesn't really repair split ends. that's just ripping it off, which I don't think is very good for your hair. it's still dry & damaged. just get it cut xD

Yeah like kyra says that doesn't repair your hair, the exposed medulla of the hair is already dead. You can moisturize it and it will look like it's ok because pores will absorb conditioner even if it's dead. In long term it's making it worst. Get it cut like kyra says sweety🌻

@jenna, no haha, it's quite relaxing tbh and @Kyra, it's an easy way to get a short term result, say if you had quite short hair already! I have really short hair though I wear extensions, but most of the time, it's better to me to split the end and condition it, which lasts around 2 week then get it cut than to get it snipped straight away!
