No you use sea salt. 2 tbsp sea salt to every cup of water.

My cousin used table salt and room temperature water on her nose stud while it was healing and it turned out fine so I don't see why you couldn't for a belly ring :)

Meh, I honestly wouldn't. belly piercings are one of the hardest to get to heal, so I would either just buy a from the piercing place or buy Bactine spray from a drug store. that's what I used when my piercing started reacting to a ring I bought & it cleared up in a couple days.

I used peroxide and a healing cream. But I guess you may use a salt infusion at the moment if you can,t buy smth from ladies've said:-)

Don't use table salt, it's not the same as sea salt and like Kyra said, the belly piercing takes some time to heal, but Bactine or a sea salt spray.
