I need a really heavy-duty exfoliator for use on my legs, ankles, knees and elbows. My skin has gotten very dry and flaky over the winter months, and I want to remove layers of dry skin. I've heard of exfoliators like honey and banana, but I think they'd be more moisturising than exfoliating, and I want to scrub away the layers of skin instead of softening them.
Does anyone have a recipe for a really good, effective DIY scrub that will make my skin feel soft and fresh again? :) x

You could add in coffee grounds or baking soda to the honey to exfoliate.

Awesome, thank you! Have either of you tried the coffee grounds exfoliator? If so, how did you find it?

I have not used the coffee grounds yet. But I have heard about it on pinterest and in some magazines awhile ago. Sorry I am not all that helpful.
