Garnier Dark Spot corrector works well for me. Just use a sunscreen or other moisturizer on top, no matter what. Sunlight can darken the pigments and make the marks more noticeable and harder to get rid of. Exfoliating 2-3 times a week (every other day usually) can also help new cells turn over.
