I understand my hair is unbelievably damaged but I've managed to get it looking presentable by first slathering my hair in a mixture of coconut oil and olive oil. I let that sit for an hour. then I wash my hair using coconut milk based shampoo and conditioner (which you can find at Walmart or Walgreens). This always gets my hair super soft. Before doing this my hair felt like a cheap Halloween wig:) haha and if you're like me and always have to style your hair with heat I suggest using nutrisse Garnier straightening mist or Garnier heat peotectant.

I think everything Kayleigh said is great advice. You can also look up avocado hair masks. I'm going to try one soon.

Hot oil treatment! heat up a bit of olive oil in the microwave for about a minute then apply to your hair, and wash out in a half hour. also try using a deep conditioner, I re commend Aussie's 3 minute miracle

I get you. Split ends are SO annoying! The best way to get rid of them is probably to cut them off. But there are alternatives I guess. But cutting them probably works best.

Do conditioning treatments to keep your hair healthy, like almond oil hair treatments, egg and mayonnaise or avocado hair masks, or an argan oil hair mask from pro naturals to repair and moisturize. That should make your hair look and feel better.
