You could also be applying too much?
of you apply too much primer to your face it makes it look shiny & oily no matter what brand or kind of primer it is.
maybe try applying less.

Maybe you don't need primer. I would try the porefessional or milk of magnesia.

I used smashbox and I was actually really happy with the results, but now I use lancome la base and I don't eaven have words for how good it is!

Apply primers about 5 minutes after you apply moisturizer and then wait another 5 minutes before applying makeup. I used to have issues with the smashbox photoready primer and I found by doing that and using a little less its not as oily looking.
My favorite primer is the givenchy mister smooth. If you have oiler skin they do make a "mister matte" as well. Other primers that are best sellers where I work that I have tried myself are Tarte's poreless primer & Too Faced "primed & poreless"
