My hair is sort of long, but my goal length is for it to be past my butt. Any suggestions for fast growing tricks?

Rub aloe Vera water
In the roots and rub just a tiny bit or olive oil not enough to make your hair look greasy. Also massaging your head upside down helps with the bloodstream process

You could probley get it from the super market or just use aloe Vera gel which you get from the actual plant that you can buy at the store.

Give your scalp a massage every day for 10 minutes and flip your head upside down for about 2 minutes to get the blood circulating around the follicles. Healthy, nourishing hair masks, are a must, I use one called pro naturals Moroccan argan oil hair mask, it’s very moisturizing and it makes your hair really healthy. Also, get regular trims to prevent split ends and encourage healthy growth.
