A classic smoky eye always looks good on anyone. Maybe add some gold tones in it for effect.

Maybe medium dark? I'm not sure but gold always compliments rich skin colors! The naked palette is good for any skin color & I think you will like the Vice palette from lorac!

Determining your skintone really differs by brand... they all see us brown skinned girls differently. (and some don't see us at all!..
any highly pigmented brand of eyeshadow will work on you..
wet n wild. most elf. urban decay. mac. maybelline, cover girl.. I can go on and on..
wear whatever shades fit your personal style.
what type of colors do you find appealing.? just do you!
if you have problems with it showing up as vivid as you'd like use elf primer or nyx. or nyx jumbo eye liner in milk.. or any liquid/cream shadow then apply the shadow. maybelline eye tatoo does the trick too!.

Any color will show up on your skin. You just have to prime your eyes with a jumbo white pencil, paint pot, or eyeshadow primer. It will also make the colors more pigmented if you wet your brush with setting spray or water. But I'm trying out bh cosmetics 28 neutral palette and the San Francisco palette (get it in the mail tomorrow) and it's supposed to be really good for the price. Coastal scents is the same thing. As far as drugstore, wet n wild has really pigmented shadows. I also like NYX and NYC's shadows

Everyone gave all the good advice already lol, but safe to say I like when darker toned girls neutralize and add a small pop of color! too much color content could look very runway!!
