How do I straighten back of my hair.

Well the title speaks for itself but there is " bump" at the back of my hair because I can't straighten it.

Straighten the hair in small sections and hold the iron to the back of your head and straiten

I just split my hair in half in a middle parting and bring both sides to the front an manage to straighten the back from the sides quite easily, if not maybe try doing it bending over with your hair upside down?
