What color bag to match blue?

I know it might seem pathetic, but I'm starting a new school next year and I want to make a nice first impression. My school uniform consists of a long navy skirt and a light blue blouse.
I was thinking of buying a herschel but I want sure of what color- would beige match?
Can you recommend any other bag style?
