Are there any facial cleansers out there that can do a really good job of removing face makeup (foundations, powder, blush, etc)? Preferably not wipes since those tend to irritate my skin. Maybe something like the Philosophy Purity cleanser but not as expensive?

I use the acne.org cleanser. Best cleanser for my acne prone sensitive skin that I have found!! You can only get it online...

Be careful with the acne.org stuff; my roommate uses it and it's bleached her pillowcases and towels a little. It works well for her though so she just deals with weird pillows hahaha

I have very sensitive skin, and I swear by Philosophy Purity Cleanser. It totally removes my face and eye makeup, and is very gentle for the skin.

I use Bobbi Brown Soothing cleansing oil and a baby wash cloth. It removes even my eye makeup without stinging.

I'm in love with the bioderma sensitive skin stuff. You can use it or a makeup remover or a cleanser.

I am in love with cleansing oils! incase you don't know: cleaning oils are thin oils (way thinner than cooking oil!) that you put on your face dry, then using it to rub off your makeup. when the oil is in contact with water it turns into a milky water that comes straight off! so no oily greasy face after, just soft and clean. I use bobbi brown's but shu uemura, mac, sanctuary all have cleansing oils as well. No.7 has a cleansing balm that i use to use which is: a blam that as you work it into your skin, it turns in to an oil and in contact with water, turns into a milk. i never need to tone my face after cause it's kinda pointless when all my makeup is off my face...
hope this helps!

I love using black soap to take off my makeup. It's gentle and doesn't irritate my acne prone skin. I finish that off with Thayer's Rose Water witch hazel toner. My face feels clean and moisturizer.

If i were you, i would just use "Extra Virgin Olive Oil" to remove all that makeup. Its healthy & your skin benefits from it, best of all... its not expensive! if you have any olive oil in your kitchen right now, please give it a try ;-)

I mix half baby oil- (or any oil) & half water on a little bottle. Shake it up, works like a charm. Super cheap. Not drying. Just rinse your face after & pat dry .

What is black soap? I recently switched to Murads cleanser and toner and noticed a huge change in my skin. I am really loving it!
