For castor oil since it is very think you must mix it with another oil like almond, olive, or coconut. What you can do it castor oil with olive oil on your scalp & massage in & then mix coconut with either almond oil or some honey & put it on the rest of your hair :)

What I do
a.) mix a tsp of castor oil and one tsp of coconut and mix
b.) put coconut oil though out hair&scalp then apply castor oil in hair so its easier to apply
