Hot oil treatments help me for sure! I bleach my roots every month and dye every 4 or so weeks as well as use heat on it 4 times a week my hair is fried lol. They definitely help as well as deep conditioners :) I leave deep conditioners in over night sometimes and when I wash it out in the morning my hair is so soft :3.

Georgia, would love to rec products but don't want to rec something before knowing your hair type curly? thin? oily? Red is the hardest color to keep in and the hardest to get out. Its important to use good products otherwise every time you wash your hair with lets say Suave it is fading color faster. Why is it so damaged?

I like Ion's intense repair conditioner, I mix it with a little of my color deposit conditioner and leave it on for 10 mins, then use argon oil spray when it's damp. it dries with a nice shine and protects your hair. I Also use a red protein filler before I use permanent dye, and add a couple drops of an argon oil serum to it, so it looks shiny and not frazzled after it's processed. It's good to take more precautions than just relying on conditioning and stuff. The argon oil spray is like my go to, especially with how dry it is here. :)
