Lily is right. Rusk makes amazing products. My professional stylist swears by Chi "Total Protect" while damp..and an application of Rusk's "Thermal Shine" just prior to heat styling. While protection is important, getting your hair to a healthy place is what's best for now. Trim the damage...give it a good, deep conditioning with Pureology Hydra Whip or It's A 10 masque and incorporate Apricot oil into your routine. You need only a bit on your fingertips to seal ends AFTER styling. Never apply heat after oil. If straight hair is what you seek...John Freida makes a fantastic "3 Day Straight". Smooth locks without having to wash hair daily. If you seek curls..try braiding your hair while damp and leave in overnight for waves..or switch up to foam rollers/flexible rods for bouncy curls. I'm a fan if flocked hot rollers as well. Hope that helps!
