This is the third nail polish I bought from Essie that was dried out and nasty. The store won't take them back and Essie won't do anything. I love there color section, but I refuse to spend money on bottles of dried nail polish. Anyone else have this issue?? It was purchased at Salon Centric.

I would guess it's the store having old stock. You can buy nail polish thinner for like 3$ at Sally. I've never had that problem with a new bottle of Essie, after a few years, yes, but new, never.

That is definitely a store issue. They probably picked it up a discount supplier for pennies and then charge you $8 bucks for the bottle. I always get mine at ULTA so if there is an issue...easy return,no questions asked. Such a bummer the store won't let you return them. :(

I've never had a problem with Essie, but Shelley's right - you should buy them from a mass retailer that is authorized to sell Essie. Lately, I've been getting mine at Right Aid and I know Target carries the brand as well.
I would be pretty upset with Salon Centric, if you want to attempt to get your money back again I would only go through a manager and/or threaten to report them as selling counterfeit product!

Salon Centric is a professional beauty store only open to licensed professionals and there nail polishes are $4 at a discount. when you look at it, its better to buy a regular store like target or rite aid because they have a good return policy. Sad because I love there colors.

That's horrible. I shop at cosmoprof, salon centrics competition, and they always return anything pretty much, they don't have Essie but they have a lot of other great brands. May be worth switching. Have you called Essie he and reported this. They may send you a replacement. Opi has did this for me before.
