Lately I've been trying to pay more attention to my skin. its not super dry or oily, but I have been breaking out more lately. I just want to keep it looking nice and smooth. I know that I shouldn't wear any makeup to bed, but do any of you have a good skin routine that helps you? how many times a day should I do this? any more skin care tips? thanks!!

I started using Clinique about two months ago and it's honestly changed my skin so much. My skin is the best it has ever been, my facial eczema has completely gone away, and I pretty much never break out anymore (I had acne all throughout high school).
I've been trained with makeup and skin care, and I cannot stress how important it is to have a good skin care routine. There is so much crap in our atmosphere and air, and it all collects in our skin.
A basic 3-step system is really really helpful!
1. Cleanser-this helps remove bacteria, dirt and gunk from the skin! (Clinique Cleansers are the best imo. They come in extra mild, mild, and oily skinned formulas!)
2. Toner/Clarifying Lotion- A lot of people underestimate how important a toner is. It removes surface dead skin cells and any dirt that might have been missed. It also helps encourage your skin's cell renewal, so it becomes healthier and more regulated! (Clinique again has them for all skin types. If you're not super dry or oily, you're likely a combination skin type, so either #2 or #3)
3. Moisturizer-Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer. This helps to regulate your skin's moisture barrier!

Another super important tip is to exfoliate! I recommend exfoliating about 2 times a week, so at the beginning and end! Some people feel that they need more. The problem with exfoliators is that if the micro beads aren't perfectly circular, then can actually cause microscopic cuts in your skin, which is definitely not good. The Clinique 7 Day Scrub is made with dermatologists and is gentle and won't cut your skin.

I'm not exagerrating when I say that my face routine is now one of my favourite parts of my day. My skin feels so clean and soft afterwords, It really is amazing what a good skin-care system can do for you!

So to recap: basic 3-step routine (cleanser, toner, moisturizer) morning and night, and exfoliate twice a week (usually at nighttime)!

I hope this helps!! And I'm more than happy to answer any other skin-care questions you might have :)

Basically I wash my face with soap every morning and night and it helps I don't like using brands becuz I always look at tge bak and see causes rashes or irritation... I only hav one brand and that clean and clear and I have never used but anyways mayb its just me but washing your face thoroughly twice a day I think helps. And also let your skin breath for a while whether its like decreasing the amount of makeup you wear or not at all putting on makeup, keep your skin moisturized especially in the place they get dry but this usually doesn't work for every one hope this helped
