What is it that makes you want to subscribe to someone on YouTube. Is it their work, personality, products they use, the way they look? What turns you off to a person to where you don't want to subscribe. I was just curious and maybe could see how I can improve my channel

I like people who actually know what they're talking about. I really dislike watching someone who keeps saying variations of "I really like this/it's pretty" without getting specific. Tell me why you like it! If someone is showing me a product, I wanna know what sets it apart from similar products on the market so I can get the best out there, or at least be well-informed.

I'm pretty hooked on Leesha (xsparkage). She's a complete package, in my opinion. Extremely knowledgable, amazing ideas, great tips and tricks, plus, she's got an adorable personality. She's actually why I'm into makeup now. She showed me it wasn't a chore, and could be fun.

Ashley,I dont mind when people constantly look away when they talk, I actually think its kinda weird when people just constantly stare camera let alone hardly blink lol but that's just me though

Hi Jessica! I subscribe if I like the videos and the youtuber uploads regularly. I also love when the videos are filmed with a good camera or at least were edited very well. I won't subscribe to someone who talks nonsense or too much.. The person has to be good at what she/he's doing, passionate and creative:) But I have also subscribed to people who I simply liked (voice, just the way someone is) :) I check every of my subscribers channel out and sometimes (rather rarely though) subscribe back if I think those criteria are satisfied (I think it is the best to get subscribers who really watch your videos). Other than that I usually subscribe to "bigger"/ "experienced" youtubers.

When they don't know what they're talking about. I like someone that I can actually learn from who doesn't just talk out of their butt from what they've heard from other people. Quality, quality, quality. And your videos can't just be hauls and favorite videos.

People like professional, high quality, informative tutorials. We are there to learn!! I don't like people who aren't professionals to be honest. Get some schooling if you haven't, because I really wouldn't sub to the girls who are just trying to replicate videos that already up! Originality, passion, and professionalism! And experience. That's what I sub to.
