I recently posted a topic about how my hair has been feeling dry and brittle...I'm starting to think its because of too much protein in my hair. I have coarse, curly hair that needs a ton of moisture, but I feel like every product I use contains protein, and it's extremely damaging to my hair.
Does anyone know of any products (particularly leave-in conditioner) that don't contain protein?
Thanks for your help :)

You can try using a moisturizing conditioner as a leave-in. Just dilute it with water. Or when you rinse your hair with conditioner, leave a little bit in your hair. Water is your biggest source of moisture, so adding a little conditioner and oil (for example, olive oil or coconut oil) can help your hair from feeling dry. Try to find a protein/moisture balance that leaves your hair feeling "just right," instead of "too brittle" or "too soft."
