Hair dye help!

Okay so I got my hair dyed at a salon. I got my hair dyed a dark coppery color, and I love the top of my head, but the tips of my hair are like a red wine/ pink color! I'm freaking out. Any suggestions on what to do?:/

This might sound gross, but only shower with conditioner. No shampoo. That will help the hair dye stop fading while I "settles" into your hair.
