The pressed ones are better because I feel like when I'm putting the loose one on it falls and flakes all under my eyes

I recommend them! I do not have the holiday set, but I do own a single eyeshadow. It's called "snow". It's just a matte white. I absolutely love it! I use it often for an inner corner, brow bone and cupid's bow highlight. Even sometimes on my nose or when I highlight and contour. The gift set is $79 for 20 eyeshadows. Personally, I think that's a great deal. The one I have is very pigmented. I don't think you'd be disappointed! :)

I have to be honest I have both and just don't think the color payoff is worth the price.

@Kelly, when you say both do you mean the loose shadows vs those pressed pallets they sale?

The swatches are all really pretty, but if you plan on using them everyday you should have a lot of time to use them. :P.

Oh alma. that color is so fab..
yeah, you have both elf n ulta loose mineral shadows. the ulta is better quality. but both have decent color.. but the weight you
is different.
@Tia. I hear that!!.. lol.
I won't b using them to go to work or anything on a daily. at least not with the job I have now. do you ever try using yours with a wet brush. maybe that would help control the fall out?.

Oh. and I have the nyx loose ones but I didn't use that as a compairable because its not mineral. but I guess it would b along those same lines.

Hey Naomi, yeah I have both the loose powders and one of the pressed pallets, could just be my skin type, but for some reason the powders just don't show up great or fade quickly for me and the texture of the pressed palette shadows just seems off. Could be my technique though. :)

Pressed are better because they stick on to your lid better.
