Don't stretch your eyelid its bad for your eyes and it makes the line appear bigger than it is so it might go wrong,try putting your elbow on a solid surface like a table or desk while applying so you have more control,with eyeliner pratice makes perfect.

I don't suggest stretching the eyelid. Rest your pinky finger on you check while lining the eyes.

And have a mirror 45 degrees below you so that you are looking slightly downwards while applying.

I lean my head back so my eyelid is flat and then I dry the line closer to my lashline
