Hi guys :)
I need some hair help!
I've got quite thick hair and if I'm going to curl it, I always leave it to the day after washing as my hairdresser told me, but it doesn't matter eat I do or what products I use, my curls always fall out after a couple of hours :( how do you hold yours in place?

I would try overnight culrs, such as sock or headband curls!

Mine would have the problem of not curling or barely at all! A lot of people wouldn't recommend this but I would actually use a little bit of hairspray before I curl my hair. That's also why I don't curl it much haha.

Are you one of those people that likes to stay away from heat or are you comfortable with using curling irons or rollers?

I would try wanding it for some reason that always holds mine way better than a curling iron

Use a hair straightner & do small strands of hair at a time.

I live in Georgia, it's super extremely humid Omg...I guess you just need to find a hairspray that will do the trick, unfortunately, I don't have a go to hairspray but maybe someone else can help you out with that :) Good luck!

Nothing really holds my curls except hairspray (or hardening gel). I do find I my curls stay longer if I curl them with rollers, blast them with the dryer for a bit, then leave it in for a while before unrolling.

I had that problem too before!! after you curl each strand spray it with hair spray then pin curl it-- meaning roll the curl up that you jus curled and pin it to your head either with a bobby pin or a small clip.. do that all over and then let them out after. run your fingers thru slightly, spray again and style how you want :) the hair spray I use is "Schwarzkopf thicker fuller hair" it's a volumizing spray but it has a superior hold with out the mess!!

I have the same problem. My hairdresser said its best to curl hair a day after youve washed it as the dirt hold the curls better (sounds awful I know but my curls lasted 2 days when she did it) use a curling mousse before you curl them with a wand or even overnight curls. Then just add hairspray! My hair last the longest using hair straighteners to curl my hair.
