The brown sugar thing doesn't really work it just makes hair sticky :( :( You can chemically relax your hair but it's pretty damaging and makes hair fragile and its hard to grow out.

Round brush and a blow dryer. To me it's less damaging than a flat iron.

Yeah I've also tried the brown sugar thing...don't do it, it really does make your hair just sticky and gross feeling. I agree with Jes on that one!

I didn't know if it worked or not. But if I were you I would try a texturizer. It has the same effects as a relaxer but its less damaging to the hair and its not permanent like a relaxer.
