I've been asked to do makeup for a fellow designers photoshoot. I want to freelance on the side while I'm getting my line up and ready. So this is my first shot really.
•What do I need in my kit?
(preferably most things under $100)
This is kind of last minute so whatever I can afford.
•Advice?
I'll ask more questions later

This shoot will be next week. So I don't have time or money to build it up a ton right now. I need some basics. Foundation/concealer, setting powder or spray, blush, brushes. Affordable but good. I was thinking maybe the graftobian or Ben bye ones? I have an elf setting powder which is horrible. So I need something that looks good and won't wash out in pics.

Being that its last min, head over to your local Sephora (sure hope you have one) and ask for 3 samples! (that can be of foundation, lipgloss/lipsticks, primers +... your choice!)

Thank you.
Is Cameraready Cosmetics shipping really fast? They say like 3 days. Anyone know?

Makeup artist bargins and quick kit: Revlon Colorstay foundations, come in a huge range of colors, photographs like a dream. Dream Bounce blush, Wet+Wild lipsticks (just de-pot). Depending on the shoot, setting spray is really just to get rid of the 'powdered' look. The only thing I would def get - MUFE powder. Good luck!

Honestly I currently work with Loreal True Math foundations and they photo very well. I use e.l.f. HD powder which is pretty much identical to MUFE powder and it's only 6 dollars (don't pack that on though apply it with a fan brush very lightly to the t-zone or it might add a white cast) As for blushes I like Tarte's Cheek stains & Mascara you can never go wrong with a Cover lashblast. (I'm working with a mix of high end and low end products right now until I start adding more high end products and people still come out satisfied)
