Can I have some tips on doing a small bump?

As a hairstylist and Paul Mitchell Educator, I believe that a good end result for a hairstyle starts right from the shampoo until the finished result. For smoothing, I love our Super Skinny shampoo and conditioner. It's a smoothing line and then try the Super Skinny Relaxing Balm while hair is still damp. Then blow dry your hair with a ceramic vented brush, this helps smooth the hair with heat. Then curl or straighten, whatever you usually do with your hair. Then using a boar bristle brush teasing brush, tease small 1/4 sections of your hair, but only a little higher than your roots. A lot of people tend to tease their roots from the middle of their hair and that's doing nothing but causing breakage and making your hair look like fuzzy cotton candy. Leave out the last portion of hair that goes on top of your pomp/bump. leaving that unteased leaves a smooth veil that will cover the rest of your teased hair and created a sleek look. Also, be sure to spray your sections of hair with hairspray before you tease it. This will create a nice foundation so the hair will stay in place. I recommend Paul Mitchell's Stay Strong hairspray because its not tacky or too overpowering. Lastly for any fly aways or baby hairs and added extra smoothing, take a toothbrush you don't use, preferably a new one, spray with hairspray and run it along the baby hairs and bump. Then give it an all over spritz with hairspray. Sorry to get so nitty gritty, but I hope this helps!
