Um it depends , like if its the thicker longer ones they hurt. If its the small ones that peek out it doesn't hurt. I've never cried I just thought it was a light pain.

It hurt at first for me, now I'm used to it. sometimes, occasionally I do sneeze. which is awkward. lmao. but, it doesn't bother me too much anymore.. unless I'm getting ingrown hairs and I'm unaware.. then it hurts. some people ice beforehand some use a warm compress to avoid bumps.
